LEEVOT has two equipment models, electric sausage stuffer and manual sausage stuffer.
Manual sausage filling machines have two speeds: low speed and high speed, and their capacities are available in three models: 3, 5, and 7L. They operate on a horizontal gear with a threaded rack that is raised or lowered by turning a crank attached to the gear.
Electric sausage machines, with capacities of 10, 12, and 15L, are mostly suitable for small batch processing. They power the rack by connecting to a power source, and can be set to 9 different speeds to force the material out of the cylinder, or change the speed by holding down the foot pedal.
LEEVOT sausage stuffing machine consists of three main parts: stainless steel frame, cylinder and stuffing tube. The cylinder is placed on 4 locking nuts to secure it to the frame so it doesn't move around when the machine is running. The stuffing tube is very easy to replace, just unscrew the trefoil nut, slide the stuffing tube over the nut, and re-tighten the nut.
There are usually two gears on the side of the sausage machine, which are connected to the crank, and the crank is rotated to move the piston. The top gear is a high-speed gear and is only used when pushing the piston out of the cylinder. The bottom gear is the low speed gear and is mainly used for stuffing sausages.
The rack is opposite to the gear on the side and moves up and down as you turn the crank. There is a screw on the end of the rack that allows you to attach the piston. The piston is stainless steel and by fitting a washer around the periphery it prevents meat from escaping back into the cylinder. As the piston descends, it pushes the meat through the outlet at the bottom into the stuffing tube and then into the casing. Even if your gasket isn't in place, it will still work, but will likely leak more flesh from the edge of the piston.
All models of sausage filling machines are equipped with 4 different sizes of stuffing tubes, whose diameters are 16mm/ 22mm/ 32mm/ 38mm, 16mm for hot dog-sized sausages, 22mm for bratwurst and smoked sausage, 32mm For making salami and sausage, 38mm for large summer sausages and in bulk bags.
You can master some skills when using the sausage stuffing machine, which can greatly facilitate your filling work. A heavy base is the secret to preventing the machine from wandering around, and wooden clamps can also be a big help, especially when working alone. With the clamp, you can operate the device on any countertop or desktop without worrying about "walking around" while the machine is running.
While running the machine, if you feel it is difficult to move when turning the crank, we need to back off the piston and make some adjustments to the batch. First, we need to check whether there is any gas remaining in the cylinder, and if so, drain it. If that doesn't work, you can remove the entire cylinder from the frame and put it in the refrigerator to cool for a while. The fat in the cold meat will be less viscous, so it will be easier to fill. When none of the above steps work, you may need to add some water to the sausage meat. If you really can't depress the piston, then don't continue trying, as it may increase the pressure in the cylinder, and when you release the handle, it may quickly rotate in the opposite direction, potentially injuring someone.
If you want to determine which size sausage stuffer is best for you, you need to consider a few factors. First, consider the capacity of the product. Appropriate capacity is the key to easing your work. If you only need to produce smaller batches of sausage, a 3-7 pound sausage maker is a good choice. If you need to produce in large quantities, then a 10-15 pound machine can also meet your needs. The second is to choose the model of the product. The electric model can be more convenient and faster, while the manual model can better control the size of the sausage and prevent the casing from bursting. Then it must be usable and durable. Plus it's easy to clean.
With the above considerations, there is a high probability that you can find a product that is most suitable for you.
After understanding the various parts of the product, it will help you better clean and maintain the equipment, and it will also make it easier for you to make a decision when choosing which type of product to buy. At the same time, mastering some necessary skills can help your sausage business.
